Why are Geritol® Tablets so large?
As with other vitamin and mineral products, size is directly related to the amount of nutrients product contains. Geritol® Complete contains 26 different vitamins and minerals.

What time of the day should I take Geritol®?
You can take Geritol® whenever it is most convenient for you. We recommend that you make Geritol® a regular part of your daily routine, so take it at the same time each day. Also, if taken on an empty stomach, vitamin or mineral supplements may cause stomach discomfort for some individuals. For this reason we recommend you take Geritol® immediately before, during or after a meal because this will reduce the possibility of stomach discomfort.

Why is the recommended dosage one tablet per day?
One Geritol® Complete® tablet provides both men and women with all essential vitamins plus 17 minerals. We do not recommend taking more than 1 tablet per day since it contains vitamins D, E, and K, which are fat-soluble vitamins and can build up in the system if too much is taken. More than one tablet a day is unnecessary unless you have an unusual nutritional deficiency. In that case, you should consult your physician.

How soon after starting to use Geritol® will I notice results?
Since there are many variables involved when taking a dietary supplement, a product such as this may affect each individual differently. If you feel that the reason you are tired is because you are not getting enough iron or other nutrients in your daily diet, you should notice an improvement in how you feel after several days, weeks or months depending on how deficient you are. If you are taking as a nutritional supplement but are not "deficient," you may not feel any different. Geritol® is not a drug. For symptoms such as fatigue or lethargy, the consumer should see a doctor.

What additives does Geritol® Complete contain?
Geritol® Complete does not contain artificial sweeteners or added starch. Additionally, there are no added preservatives and no chemical solvents used in the production of Geritol® Complete.

How much iron does Geritol® contain?
Geritol® Complete contains 16mg. of elemental iron per tablet
Geritol® Extend contains 9.5mg. of elemental iron per tablet
Geritol® High Potency Multi-Vitamin and Iron Supplement Tonic contains 18mg. of elemental iron per dose.

Will the use of Geritol® increase my sex drive or fertility?
There's no evidence that Geritol® can increase fertility and we don't make that claim. We're not sure how the rumor got started, but there's no truth to it.
